Shipping is $4 flat in the USA (via USPS Priority Mail) and varies to available international destinations (via USPS First-Class Mail International or Priority Mail International). Shipping is free on all orders over $40 (after discount, if applicable) in the USA. Art prints are rolled in butcher paper and mailed in sturdy cardboard tubes. Smaller print sets are packed flat. We usually ship orders within 3 days of purchase. If you have a time-sensitive order, please give us a heads up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Orange & Park prints and stationery sets are screen printed on heavy 100% recycled stock using eco-friendly water-based inks. Screen printing is a stencil method of printmaking in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. All prints pass our quality inspection; minor imperfections resulting from the screen printing process are considered part of their appeal.
French Paper Company
The paper we use is produced by the French Paper Company in Michigan. From frenchpaper.com: "Family-owned for five generations, the French Paper Company is one of the smallest paper mills in America. Way back in 1955, we created Speckletone (the first ever recycled sheet with visible flecks and shives). Recycled papers, like Speckletone, require no trees to be cut down, and we use virgin pulp only from approved sources like FSC. We generate 100% of our own electricity needs. We've done so since 1922 when our clean hydropower generator was built on-site."
Orange & Park uses Next Level brand shirts, which are considered "fashion fit" because they are bit more snug-fitting than a standard Hanes or Fruit of the Loom shirt, for example (though not as tight as American Apparel). They are 100% combed cotton jersey so they will shrink a bit in the dryer.
Scout Series notebooks
Orange & Park Scout Series notebooks are made with 100% recycled paper, sourced from mills in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest, by Scout Books in Portland, Oregon. The covers are offset printed, using renewable energy, with vegetable-based inks (also sourced and mixed in Portland) on durable, 100% recycled chipboard.
