My brother-in-law Matt Goulding's new book Rice, Noodle, Fish is out now. It's his first title for Anthony Bourdain's imprint at HarperCollins and chronicles Matt's deep travels through Japan's food culture. Matt is also co-founder of the award-winning online magazine Roads & Kingdoms, whose production team helped bring the story to life with beautiful photography and graphic design.
I've been fascinated with Japanese culture and design for as long as I can remember, so I was humbled when Matt wanted to put our heads together to design a poster for the book's release.
The result is a limited edition regional ramen map, charting the geography of noodle soup across Japan, from Hakodate shio ramen to Hakata tonkotsu. Grab a print and a copy of the book now at roadsandkingdoms.com.
We also did a few tote bags! The limited edition Bento Tote and Ramen Tote are both also available in the Roads & Kingdoms store.
